ok, so I lied !!!!
Kinda.......I've been on a halfway stalk on eBay for a featherweight machine. I'd bid on a Regular basis knowing good and well that my chances of winning was slim.....It was fun, gave me something to do.....My oldest sister cheered me on, said I needed one esp if I decided to start going to classes.... Then in a conspiracy against me, My Father swings by the thrift/junk store, calls all excited because she has 2 new sewing machines, if I wanted to go check them out. As a dutiful daughter, I go to look....imagine my surprise when the first one she pulls out is a Featherwieght !!! BH MQ Clue #5
This was an easy clue for Christmas week. I had it knocked out in no time. I discovered why I ran low on my purples. I had ordered my kit from Whittles and failed to read that pink was being used as the lavender. OOPS......Since I'm not a pink person, I'm not too upset about that, but will have to work on replacing the cwr purples at some point. . I'm still treadling away in this project and am contemplating on attempting to do the quilting on the treadle too. I've never done any quilting on the treadle, so I will have to practice and It would be straight lines only

Martha,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on keeping up with the clues! Your selection of fabrics blends in with this wonderful treadle machine. I took a peak at the second picture on your blog. Fantastic.
