It's been awhile since I last "blogged" But I've been a busy Bee.......I ended up getting a new sewing machine. test drove several and fell in love with the Janome. I like that I'm in control of the tension instead of the computer...plus sewing "freehand" for quilting was the bomb. My next quest was finding a sewing table with spreading out room that didn't cost $1000. I went though several tables, (Walmart was not happy with me, but I've gotten really good with returns). Finding the right height was key. I had googled search for sewing tables and had found a site where they converted a table to sewing table, where the machine would sit "flush" . I finally found a table at Office Max for $55. the 5" bolts, nuts, washers a whooping $3. a little bit of sawing (thanks Dad and Michael), drilling, and wha-la........A SEWING TABLE !!!!!!! HAPPY is an understatement !!!! ...
